ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT MARKETING GRAFFITI.
AND ONLY YOU CAN WRITE THE BOOK!

Marketing graffiti (v.) The act of cluttering the marketplace with slogans, taglines, ads, commercials, direct mail, promotions and other uninvited, intrusive and overwhelming communications that are so obnoxiously spray-painted across every available space from airwaves to the Internet, t-shirts, gas pumps, ad nauseum that they become meaningless crap.

Be An Author
My name is Alain Jourdier and I’m an incurable marketer. I need your help to write a book that can spread the word about what marketing really is. The audience is all those folks we marketing pros have to report to or work for: CEOs, CFOs, managers, clients, boards of directors, entrepreneurs, et al. You know, the ones who suddenly find they need our expertise but often don’t know where to start. Or worse, tell us how to do our jobs!

I’ve chosen the title Marketing Graffiti because in today’s message-sodden world much of marketing is as effective as graffiti. We are bombarded by more and comprehend less. Too often, marketing has become an intrusion that doesn’t inform, entertain, or bring much value. It literally sucks the oxygen out of the room and pummels our consciousness into pulp.

Speak Up!
If you’re a marketer tired of the same old guru drivel about marketing; if you’ve got something to say about what you do, how you do it and what drives you; if you’re tired of Monday morning quarterbacking by those you report to, then join your comrades in arms in writing Marketing Graffiti. Let’s stop marketing graffiti before it starts.

Marketing Graffiti is a true marketing community project. This is not an academic text or MBA speak. It’s straight from the gut, hard-earned, true grit marketing knowledge from practitioners who have been in the trenches and know what’s real. It’s a no bullshit guide. Finally, a marketing book you can be proud of, and to share with everyone you know who needs it!
