Marketing Graffiti is about changing mindsets…. And slaying the misconceptions of what marketing is really about. It’s about creating a road map full of wisdom for those we serve so they can more effectively partner with us and support our efforts on their behalf. Here’s how to get started.
Guidelines
• There is no length requirements, but less is always more
• You can contribute as often as you want on any marketing topic
• It needs to be written “for the rest of us” and without jargon or academic mumbo jumbo
• It needs to tell a story
• It needs to be practical and can be applied quickly
• It needs a title
• It should be supported by examples if possible
• Mini-case studies are always great to bring the message home
• It can include checklists, PowerPoints, napkin drawings, poems, songs, cartoons, quotes, etc…. anything that lets the message shine through with a universal gem of wisdom that can be applied anywhere and by anyone with half a brain

Format
Each accepted piece will be considered a “mini-chapter” and grouped under the appropriate chapters that evolve. For example: strategy, research, measuring results, communications, customer service, direct response, television, etc. (For great examples on format look at Harry Beckwith’s books such as Selling the Invisible, etc.)
For any contribution to be considered it must answer or explain the following:
• What marketing graffiti are you taking on and what’s your solution?
• Why is this important to know?
• What is the strategy?
• What are the tactics?
• What results can be expected?
• What is the key learning?
